National real estate developer, Skilken Gold, announced today that the company has recently closed on the purchase of an approximately six-acre site in South Greensburg, Pennsylvania, The site is situated on the southwest corner of US 119 and Huff Avenue, approximately 25 miles southeast of Pittsburgh, and is already leased to Sheetz, the nationally acclaimed restaurant and convenience chain, based in Claysburg, Pennsylvania.
This is Skilken Gold’s third project for Sheetz in Greater Pittsburgh, although the company is also working as Sheetz’s exclusive real estate developer in Central Ohio, where more than 50 stores will open by 2025.
“We’re thrilled to be partnering with Sheetz, not just in Ohio, but in the company’s home court in Pennsylvania,” said Isaac Gold, Vice President of Real Estate for Skilken Gold. “Pittsburgh is a highly competitive market. Sites are hard to come by, and the topography of the area often presents difficulties.”
“We worked to overcome the typography challenges and delivered a great location with high commuter-traffic counts, The store will be a great addition to the area,” Gold added.
Skilken Gold’s other projects for Sheetz in the greater Pittsburg market include locations In Latrobe and West Mifflin.
