Skilken Gold announced today the closing on land that will be home to a new Sheetz store at the southeast corner of Lebanon Church Road and Clairton Road in West Mifflin, a suburb of Pittsburgh.
Sheetz, the nationally-acclaimed restaurant and convenience store chain, based in Claysburg, Pennsylvania, anticipates that construction will begin at the site this year, with the store to open in 2021.
“We’re thrilled to be working with Sheetz, not just in Ohio, but in the company’s home court in Pennsylvania,” said Isaac Gold, Vice President of Real Estate for Skilken Gold. “Pittsburgh is a highly competitive market. Sites are hard to come by, and the topography of the area, combined with challenging road systems, can present difficulties.”
“But we delivered a great location with exceptionally high traffic counts and easy accessibility. We’re honored to be partnering with Sheetz as they expand their footprint in the city and elsewhere,” Gold added.
Gold extends special recognition to real estate broker, Tommy McCafferty of Hannah Langholz Wilson Ellis, who represented the company in the transaction.
Skilken Gold is the exclusive real estate developer, managing Sheetz’s aggressive roll-out in Central Ohio. Skilken Gold also is working with Sheetz in northeast Ohio, in addition to Pennsylvania.
